Off the coast of Denmark you´ll find a lovely little island surrounded by sparkling blue salt water. Læsø is the name of the isle.

Now Læsø Saltcare gives you a way to immerse yourself in the sea and enjoy the healthful effects of natural salt on the skin. We all know how good the skin feels after a swim in the sea, don´t we? It becomes soft, appealing, and all the blemishes seem to disappear like dew in the sunshine.

The idea for this series of skin- and hair-care products arose after we had heard about salt production at the saltworks on Læsø. We had a notion that the residual brine from salt production would be perfect for skin-care products. If a swim in the sea makes your skin soft, why not put the sea into a tube?

Læsø Saltcare has developed a range of products in which the most important ingredients are the minerals found in residual brine from the saltern. All Læsø Saltcare products were developed in cooperation with pharmacists and dermatologists.

We succeeded in creating preparations that are gentle, but effective. Our products contain no artificial color, perfume or parabenes. That´s why our skin preparations and shampoo are ideal for most skin types. 

Læsø Saltcare product range consits of 4 skin-care products: Body Lotion Gel Creme Schampo   All products are devoloped for people with sensitive skin and therfore contains no parfume, parabenes or dye.
Läsö-Saltcare Body Lotion 50%	Læsø Saltcare Body Lotion is more concentrated than our creme, but it has the same - 50% - proportion of residual brine. Recommended for use after bathing.   Contact >>>
Läsö-Saltcare Gel 77%	Læsø Saltcare Gel, like all our products, is made of the residual brine from salt production on the island Læsø. Approximately 77% brine, the gel has the highest saline concentration of any of our products. The residual brine also contains natural minerals, iodine and other beneficial elements or compounds. Apply twice daily, in the morning and at night. For the scalp: Massage the gel into the scalp. Let it work for at least 10 min and wash with Læsø Saltcare or another mild shampoo. Læsø Saltcare Gel is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It is quickly absorbed into the skin and forms a fine film on the skin.   Contact  >>>
Läsö-Saltcare Creme 50%	The ideal moisturizer for the hand and feet. Læsø Saltcare Creme contains "only" 50% residual brine. It makes the skin softer and moisturizes without that oily feeling. Leaves the skin with a soft, glowing appeal.   Contact >>>
Läsö-Saltcare Schampo 7%	The shampoo is produced from residual brine from salt production at the Læsø saltworks and contains approximately 7% brine, as well as a number of natural minerals also found in Læsø Saltcare Gel, Creme and Lotion. Massage the scalp with the shampoo and let it work for a few minutes before rinsing. Læsø Saltcare Shampoo promotes the growth of strong healthy skin cells in the scalp and leaves the hair soft and manageable.   Contact  >>>
